ENHYPEN Member Heeseung Departs for Solo Career
BELIFT LAB has officially announced that Heeseung has departed from K-pop group ENHYPEN to pursue a solo music career. According to the announcement, Heeseung will remain under BELIFT LAB's management as he transitions to solo artistry.
The departure means ENHYPEN will continue as a six-member group, down from their original seven-member lineup. BELIFT LAB confirmed that the remaining members will maintain their group activities under the current label structure.
Solo Album in Development
As part of his new solo career path, Heeseung is preparing a solo album under BELIFT LAB's continued management. The label has not disclosed specific timeline details for the solo project's release.
Background on ENHYPEN
ENHYPEN debuted in 2020 as a seven-member South Korean boy band formed through the reality survival show "I-LAND." The group operates under BELIFT LAB, a joint venture between HYBE Corporation and CJ ENM. Since their debut, ENHYPEN has released multiple albums and established themselves in the global K-pop market.
Heeseung served as one of the group's main vocalists and dancers since ENHYPEN's formation. His departure represents the first major lineup change for the group since their debut four years ago.
The remaining six ENHYPEN members will continue their scheduled group activities under BELIFT LAB's management, while Heeseung begins his transition to solo artistry within the same organizational structure.
